New Noise Magazine is pleased to be bringing forth Bikini Beach’s new single “I Want To Know Your Name” from their upcoming album Vol.4. The garage-rock outfit from Germany have gotten a lot of hype within their homeland since they began playing together in 2013. The song is full of gritty guitar lines and garage power rock.
“We were in our rehearsal room and wanted to write a new song. Nothing worked out until Manu said: What would John Dwyer (Thee Oh Sees) do? 3 minutes later – the song was written.” – Bikini Beach
Founded after losing a local band-contest, Nils (voc, guit), Charlotte (voc, bass) and Manu (drum) kicked quite a few German asses during four tours, supporting the likes of Gurr and Corners, and releasing three LPs, proving that garage punk still has something to say.
Whether they’re playing a small gig for zero people in a squat in Holland (just to leave a bag with their used underpants behind), enjoying big breakfasts or pizza – you can bet your mommy’s best cake that they’ll bring Death By Audio pedals and a whole bunch of loud and fuzzy guitars.
If you’re not convinced that Bikini Beach will kick your ass, too, check out their new album Vol.4 out in September 2018 on Dresden’s UNDRESSED Records.
For the new LP the girlz and boyz pushed their fuzz to a different, cleaner level and added some summer feelings – just to blow you away with the sound of banging Fuzzy-Buzzy-Garage-Punk.
