Video Premiere: Birthright – “Light Of Your Love”

Birthright

New Noise Magazine is pleased to be bringing forth the moving music video for “Light Of Your Love” from Birthright. The track itself is a punch to the gut with emotionally ripping vocals, cathartically crashing with syncopated progressions. The weaving guitar lead offers a gripping narrative to the track, ending on the realization that love is hard to display at times, and we have a different capacity of feeling capable to constantly perform our life with love. “Light Of Your Love” is off of the upcoming record, Let Me Down Easy, which is being released on June 1st.

“‘Light Of Your Love’ is the second single from Let Me Down Easy and one of the climactic points of the record. Wanting a cinematic feel for the video to match the tone of the song, we teamed up with our great friend & photographer, Ian Bell, and model Leah Hidde to bring our vision to life. The song surrounds the idea of keeping your friends and family close, as you never know when they could be taken from you. You cannot put a price on the time you have with those you love.” – Birthright

Bandcamp

Birthright is a 5-piece post-hardcore band from Baltimore, MD that has been together since 2014, but whose members have been making music together across various projects for the past 8-10 years. The band spent the last year personally financing and making four trips to Massachusetts to record their first full length record with Jay Maas (Defeater, Counterparts, Bane) with mastering by Mike Kalajian (Circa Survive, Moving Mountains). DIY touring the Mid-Atlantic in short bursts, the band has been lucky enough to support national acts such as Every Time I Die, Norma Jean, Being As An Ocean, and He Is Legend, among many others. Keep your eyes peeled for tours in support of the record, which drops 6/1/18.
