Centerfolds vocalist Tommy comments on the song:
“‘9621’ is a song that I think truly shows a transition to maturity in the music we make. 9621 was the old address where the band was first started, and where we were first able to do what we always wanted to do as musicians. There were a lot of great memories and music was made at that house, but all good things come to an end, and just like the transition from that spot and into the next, this song is again a new chapter for us. We can’t wait to see where the future takes us.”
