Midwest pop-punk band Clearfight are unleashing their newest single and video, “Goldmine.”

The band were formed by a founder and former guitarist of Such Luck (Colt Coan) and cultivated out of a desire to make fun pop-punk songs during the pandemic.

With Hunter Spano on vocals (Halfwy Home), Lyle Simon on bass (Such Luck), and Gabe Gonzalez on guitar, the band are looking forward to bringing their unique brand of pop-punk and fun times to the scene.

The band reflect more on the new track: “This song was written about those toxic people in your life, and finally finding the words you needed to say before leaving them behind. Today is full of toxicity, especially in a pandemic where everyone is in their own world. This song is about changing your story. It isn’t as easy as a song can ever make it out to be, but hopefully it strikes a chord with someone.“
