“For the release of our second video, we wanted to showcase our versatility as a band. While ‘Remember When’ embraces our aggression and dynamic of dueling vocalists, ‘Ashes’ highlights our melodic side while still delivering as much emotion and punch. Being that it was the last song written for our debut album, it truly was the climax of months in the studio and the various happenings in our lives leading up to that point. That is why we saw it fitting to have it as both the closing song on the album, and the last video we put out before its release.”
To celebrate the new album, Closer To Found are putting on a show at Foufounes Elctrique in downtown Montreal on November 25th. They’ll be playing with other Montreal bands White Fix Society, Alongside, Sever The Voices, and Great Gardening.
