Common War channel the heaviness of metal and the heaviness of personal expectation in their new video for “Buried at Sea” out now via Indecision Records.

“The video for ‘Buried at Sea’ is a basic look into the lyrical concept that we place a lot of pressure and weight on ourselves in so many different ways,” says James Gierke of Common War. “We are lost inside our heads too often and, in doing so, can create a chaotic and/or negative outlook.”

Common War are a metal group based out of Southern California that combine caustic-yet-thought-provoking sounds influenced by extreme metal, hardcore, and punk. Without being confined into one genre or scene, the band are free to explore ideas and lyrical themes that can change and evolve with each album.
