New Noise Magazine is pleased to be bringing the video premiere of “Americana Summer” by Commūnion. The song is a late breeze of summer before watching Autumn settle in. Bright and poppy, “Americana Summer” is a hook friendly tune embedded with bouncy instrumentals and a feel good attitude. This is one of the many infectious singles released by Commūnion this year.

Commūnion is comprised of members from Major League and A Loss for Words. They released their first single “Blow” on Valentines Day earlier this year, followed by “Runway Love” in the spring. In May they supported Bad Rabbits on their east coast run followed by a few radio festivals before heading back into the studio with their guitarist Chris Curran (Reclaim Music Studios) and recorded two singles. Since then we’ve taken time to record two music videos and lyric video.

“‘Americana Summer’ is our take on the Millennial ‘Boys of Summer.’ We’ve traded in families and homes and the ‘American Dream’ for acquaintances, parties and materialistic accessories. Nobody wants to be in love. This is the new ‘Grease: Summer Nights’.”

This is a rock n' roll takeover.
