Catchy, direct, and heavy at times, Spill is a powerful first offering from a band committed to self-reflection and empathy. Over the course of several months, Cusp recorded the EP across several locations in upstate New York. Spill is out May 7 through on Dadstache Records.

New Noise are proud to premiere the video for the EP’s title track below:

The EP’s title track “Spill” describes an omnipresent feeling of dread that lulls in the background of everyday life.

On the track’s accompanying video, the band state:

“The ‘Spill’ video is a collage comprised of random clips submitted by members and friends of Cusp. Cass, our bassist, then edited all of the clips together and added visual effects that helped capture the tone and message of the song. The colorful, engaging, and meaningful final product is owed to her hard work.

On their own, the clips in the video represent small windows into individual lives. After Cass’s editing and the addition of the music, they act together as a reminder of the fullness of life and a sense of what can look forward to as we near the end of the pandemic.”
