New Noise Magazine is pleased to be bringing forth the music video premiere of “UFO” by Dock Watch Hollow. The three piece act from New Jersey have brought forth a song that escalades as it is played, expanding into a worthy sonic explosion of vocals and guitars. Kept together by a narrative of questioning worth and the reality surrounding, the song moves between progressions and grows with each one. Dock Watch Hollow exist in the song as much as the world seems to exist around; and capturing that is a process hard to come by. “UFO” is an anthemic rally cry for reminding others we are all humans in this world and trying to find what that means feels like a defeatist prophecy.
“The song “U.F.O.” makes a deep comment about the ambiguity of our existence. This answer-seeking anthem transcends into the ideology that nothing we do will ultimately determine the inevitable fate of our universe. “U.F.O” will be available for purchase on Bandcamp Friday, December 8th, 2017. ‘U.F.O.’ is off of our second EP, The Deed, which will be released on Monday, December 11th, 2017.” – Sunny Nogueira
The music video for “U.F.O.” was shot and edited by Joe Reyes, with the music produced/mixed by Doug Gallo & AGL sounds in New Brunswick.
Dock Watch Hollow is an alternative rock group from central New Jersey. The band was formed in November of 2016 by high school friends, Sunny Nogueira (guitar, vocals) and Schuyler Feigen (lead guitar, backing vocals). After both of us leaving college, we both had plans to do our own individual solo music projects, but decided to go at it together and formed Dock Watch Hollow.
We currently have one acoustic EP released named “Anything Acoustic”, produced by Eric Castillo at Nada Recording Studios. Since our first release, we added a drummer to the group, Ben Lugg, playing on the single, “U.F.O.”.
Dock Watch Hollow is going into the studio in February of 2018 with producer John Naclerio (My Chemical Romance, Brand New, Bayside).
