Drying Out are releasing their new song and video, “Washington Street,” a song about moving to a new city and attempting to save a relationship that should have ended a long time ago.
Justin expands more on the new single, “I wrote ‘Washington Street’ about a year into my move to San Francisco. I had moved there to try and save and mend a relationship that honestly should have ended a few years prior.”
He continues, “It talks about the isolation aspect of being in a loveless relationship and staying for the pure comfort you found yourself in. I hold no ill feelings about this experience as it brought me nothing but growth and admiration for the friends I ended up making in San Francisco.”
