New Noise Magazine is pleased to be bringing the surging music video from Duellists, “Into The Fade.” The song is full of vivacious punk aesthetic. The verses are gnashing and loud, with the chorus retracting a bit to bring a bit more melody to the song’s eerie presence. It’s a pissed off assault, and one sure to wake your day up with the powerful riffs. Take a view below and be prepped for an album with the same name to be released later.
“We felt that there weren’t enough remakes in the world today so why not add to the shit pile! We are all big John Carpenter fans so we thought we would have a go at recreating ‘Christine’. Our drummer Mike is a total petrol head an owns the ’57 Chevy so, although not a ‘58 Plymouth Fury, it made perfect sense. Our friend Marty Stalker from ‘Scattered Images’ did a great video for us years ago so we pitched him the idea and he loved it. It was all done in three nights, I don’t think any of us would make it as actors but it was a great experience! There is talk of keeping up the John Carpenter theme, I’m all for attempting ‘Big Trouble In Little China’ but that conversation didn’t go so well!
Excited to release our first single ‘Into The Fade’ through new Noise and YES we are aware that ‘Christine ‘should in fact be a 1958 Plymouth Fury!!! – Play Loud and Enjoy!” – Duellists
