New Noise Magazine is pleased to be bringing forth the exclusive video premiere of “Midnight” by Failed To Study. The track is an emotional outlet for the group, bringing a cathartic wave of energy into each crushing chord and vocal line. The refrain is giant, booming with walls of distorted guitars and a captivating hook. The song is off of an upcoming release slated for the summer, take a view and listen below!
This is a defining moment, as this song solidifies Failed To Study. This is us. The meaning behind it is important and speaks of the struggles that not only the three of us have gone through and continue to battle, but also many of our supporters. Mental Illness, depression, anxiety- these feelings can become crippling and often times we battle our inner demons alone. You aren’t alone in your battle- we will win these battles together. The smallest of victories make the biggest impact.
Failed to Study is a three piece rock group from Ontario, California. Established officially in 2010, FTS has developed from a local talent show competing group to a nationally touring band. While supporting other large national touring acts, the band has established their own fan base, sound, and solid lineup featuring Kristin Crofford on lead vocals, Juan Bernal on guitar, and Vladimir Bernal on percussion. Recently, the group released their latest cover of Linkin Park’s “Heavy” in tribute to the late Chester Bennington. Discovering and formulating their new sound has brought Failed to Study many opportunities including producing their 3rd and latest EP (scheduled release late July 2018), and touring Van’s Warped Tour Summer 2018.
