New Noise Magazine is pleased to bring forth the video premiere of “Rock N Roll” by Gibby Paul. With a wild video that captures air guitars more perfectly than playing Guitar Hero, the song is an energetic powerhouse of fun. “Rock N Roll” is every bit of fun and ambiance that dream pop song should carry. The song’s hazy reverbed atmosphere gives it plenty of style, accented by the lyrics and grace of the rhythm. The song is plenty of fun and definitely will bring a rockin’ vibe to the first Friday of the year.
Gibby Paul emerged from the carnage and wasteland of San Francisco’s Mammoth Life; a four-piece chick rock & dream pop band who’d released a slew of LP’s, EP’s as well as numerous singles & videos over the course of a ten year span who recently broke up (2006-2016). Since February of this year, GP forged on solo and formed a four-piece garage rock// power pop band based in Oakland, CA. Including new members Adam Szyndrowski (Sweat Lodge/ Turqouiz Noiz), Dan Staublin (Mammoth Life) and introducing Barret Wall on lead guitar. Now 30 years old, Gibby’s catalogue has spanned 15 years and is still growing. This latest endeavor however is the first time Gibby has fronted a band and belted the vocals. The forth coming LP titled So Savage is here to squash any notion that this can’t be done. “Rock ‘n’ Roll” is the first single and will be released along with a music video at the beginning of 2018.
