This past January saw the release of Golden Streets of Paradise’s brilliant LP2 Throes. Today, Steadfast Records announced a follow-up three song mini EP, available this Friday, March 12.

The Throes companion is centered around the next single and album standout “Collide (Bury My Heart)” and features two previously unreleased mixes of album tracks. “When This Light Burns Out” (Hotel Room Mix) reincarnates this somber elegy as a swirling post-punk dirge. Closing out the EP is a dreampop tinted rendition of “West Side Dives.” Remixed by Los Angeles’ Let ‘Em Riot, who redirect the songs anthemic hooks into a gauzy, soft-focused new place altogether.

In conjunction, please enjoy the incredible video treatment for “Collide (Bury My Heart),” in which the duo are hunted by a rakish character across a desolate winter landscape.

GSoP’s Adam Boose says, ” Myk wrote this one, I think it was the last song written for the record. One of those chord progressions that just moves me, maybe our prettiest song yet. I was feeling heavy Banshees vibes, playing my drum kit with mallets and brushes. There are a couple synth tones we created in this song that I’m really proud of.”
