We’re pleased to bring you the premiere of The Grievance Club’s new music video for their song “645 Mae” (watch it below). The track is taken from the band’s latest album Being of Sound Body & Unsound Mind, which is available now through Bandcamp, iTunes, and all major digital distributors.
The band commented:
“‘645 Mae’ is more or less about the time and energy we waste both individually and when we’re together; the feeling of wasting the capacity to be more productive or creative at any given time and the resulting guilt. A lot of that can be traced back to the house where most of us live and practice. So we wanted to make a video that centers around the house while also finding unique and interesting ways to visualize the lyrics. It took a lot of time and left 645 Mae in shambles, but we’re super grateful to everyone involved for their hard work and we couldn’t be happier with the end result.”
The Grievance Club is an emo-punk band from Cleveland, OH. Their sound derives from various popular influences such as Thursday, Such Gold, and Tiny Moving Parts. With the release of their latest EP, Being of Sound Body & Unsound Mind, and opening for acts such as Pianos Become the Teeth, Basement, and Defeater, they’ve made a name for themselves in their local scene.
