New Noise Magazine is stoked to be bringing forth the music video for “Someone” by Heartside. The song is led by a hypnotic guitar lead that opens and continues to pulse in the song’s textures. The vocals have a crystal clear mix to them, filling the song’s void with memorable hooks. The gift of songwriting for Heartside lies in their ways to keep every part fresh between multiple verses and an expansive chorus. There’s plenty of beauty in “Someone,” able to be streamed exclusively below.

“We’ve always prioritized dynamics and emotion in our writing, and we feel that this video adds that extra element that a great song needs. The video follows an all too relatable story, depicting the struggle for self-identification through difficult times.” – Heartside

“Someone” is from the Dangerous Times EP, which can be purchase via Bandcamp.

Heartside is a five piece progressive indie rock band based in Easton, MD. Drawing influence from emo, alt, and post-rock genres, they have been compared to bands such as Manchester Orchestra, Brand New, and HRVRD.

Having only been together since late-2015, Heartside has already established a dedicated local fanbase that consistently travels to support the band’s regional shows. At the same time, they’ve cultivated strong followings throughout Maryland, Delaware, and Southeast Pennsylvania. The band’s rapid growth can be attributed to their passionate live performances and emotionally honest songwriting that are both sure to continue.

Upcoming Shows:
December 1 – The Cliffs, Kutztown, PA
December 2 – Katie’s of Smithtown, Smithtown, NY

This is a rock n' roll takeover.
