Lone Wolf are an indie punk band from Rotterdam, The Netherlands featuring (ex-)members of the Bat Bites, Accelerators, The Apers, and Giant Eagles, fronted by the couple Merel and Ox. Stuck at home for most of 2020—like everyone of course—Merel decided to make a video clip for one of the songs from their latest album, Together Alone released by Stardumb Records, solely shot at their living room and basement-rehearsal space.

Check out our premiere of their video for the song “Runaway” below:

On the making of their video and why they decided to push it out on to the internet, Lone Wolf had the following to say:

“Just like many other bands, we were ready to tour extensively in 2020 (in our case, in support of our sophomore effort, the late-2019 album Together Alone) when everything of course came to a grinding halt. We had many shows planned including great festivals like Pouzza, Booze Cruise, Punk Rock Raduno, The Fest, etc., but what can you do!

“The benefit from our year at home, though, is that we got to make a new best friend, Jagger, who’s the star right here in our brand-new video. We wanted to cheer everybody up a bit, and who doesn’t like cat videos?”
