Los Angeles electro-punks Machinekit are sharing their new video, “Whore on the Floor,” premiering right here exclusively at New Noise.
The band, formerly known as Dharma from 2012 to 2016, self-released their debut full-length Dysappearencer in 2017 followed by several singles and EPs.
The track “Whore on the Floor” comes from the band’s forthcoming album, I Am Jack’s Lonely Heart Club Band LP, coming this March. Machinekit fuse aggressive snarl alongside hypnotic rave elements on the new album, which is the product of nearly a decade’s worth of unbounded experimentation with their sound.
The founding members John Rojas (La Bella , Brainfreeze, Badmouth), Dave Cayetano (Ruptures), and William Buege (Brainfreeze)—added drummer Ryan Janke (Fun Game) and multi-instrumentalist Ivan Garcia (Tentwenty-Seven, Presser) to the lineup last year, just in time to release their new LP.
