Video Premiere: Olicia – ‘Go Go Go feat. Laura Perrudin’

Olicia

Olicia—consisting of vocalists and multi-instrumentalists Fama M’Boup and Anna-Lucia Rupp from Berlin, Germany and Sopenhagen, Denmark—are preparing for the release of their debut album, Liquid Lines, and ahead of the new LP, they are sharing the new single and video, “Go Go Go,” featuring Laura Perrudin.

Olicia combine elements of soul, jazz, folk, electronica, and global pop to create an entirely unique sound. Liquid Lines is set for release October 1, featuring experimental, French harpist Laura Perrudin, along with drummer Demian Kappenstein (ÄTNA) and Wencke Wollny (Karl die Große).

The album will take two different forms, one version on the regular, 10-track album going on streaming services, and the physical album will feature 20 tracks, functioning as an entirely different version of the album in regard to the lyrics, instrumentation, grooves, collaboration partners, and even the language. The duo want the album to be understood as a meditation on the liquid lines of demarcation of what constitutes of song, embracing on a grander scheme the infinite possibilities that constitute art and life as a whole.
