We’re pleased to bring you the premiere of Spirit’s new music video for their song “Drown In You” (watch it below). The track is taken from the band’s Eternal Love EP, which is scheduled for release on October 8th.
When asked about the album, the band commented:
“This album was recorded at Windigo Studios in Colorado Springs. It was tracked by Westley Spero and it was mixed and mastered by Seth Munson. All of our gear was actually stolen the night before entering the studio. The Colorado Springs music community donated gear and helped a band they didn’t know so we could record this EP we put so much time into. We can’t thank them enough.
This album was written about past relationships in the form of a concept album. We decided to give the typical singing about heartbreak a more poetic figure. This whole EP is about love and how it makes you feel using different themes. It is one continuous story.”

“Finding the balance is hard. My feet have stood here before. Facing forward towards letting you further in with the wall I swore I wouldn’t let you break down behind me.
There’s something beautiful about vulnerability. There’s something beautiful about promising yourself that you’ll be more careful next time, but when the time comes you’re the lake and I dive right in. I’m the fully bloomed flower with no missing pedals.
Be still my beating heart.”
