Las Vegas, NV-based, alternative pop-rock band Sprockets are releasing their new song and music video, “Shallow Water.”
The single comes ahead of the bands upcoming LP, Ricochet Death, set for release December 21. The band initially hails from Boise, ID, and they are hoping to continue growing in their new city, with their sound taking influence from bands such as The Used, Thrice, Alkaline Trio, The Dangerous Summer, and blink-182.
The music video for “Shallow Water” takes place at a family birthday party and toys with the notion that four individuals are perceiving their realities in a different way, consumed by depression, with all four handling it differently and reaching out in subtle ways, until it seems to be too late.
Regarding the band’s sound and audience, they have a simple rebuttal: “We make music for people who like our music.”
