Video Premiere: Stacked Like Pancakes – So Close Yet So Far

Up-and-coming ska/punk group Stacked Like Pancakes have just released a new single with an accompanying music video for “So Close Yet So Far.  The outfit wrote “So Close Yet So Far” as an anthem for normalcy amidst a global pandemic. See what the members of the band have to say about the track and watch the video below.

Kellen McKay :

I went back to my ska roots with this one, and I don’t know how else to explain it besides that it feels very right. The further I got into writing ‘So Close Yet So Far,’ the more fun I had. I can’t wait to perform it live!

Steve Shriane:

To me this song screams ‘wanting to break out of a shell.’ Recording the song was a great process.

Nick Linder:

This is my favorite SLP song hands down. It was my honor to be on the recording.
