STEVANS are sharing their new song and video, “The Storm,” premiering exclusively on New Noise.

Founded by the French-Swiss Yvan Franel, STEVANS have released four albums, boasting a strong catalogue of songs and supporting major acts like Deep Purple, Kaiser Chiefs, and Coldplay. They have forged their own unique path leading up to the release of “The Storm,” written by Yvan Franel and Andrew Phillips.

The band recently toured in South America and Asia, with Chinese disco queen Zhang Qiang buying the rights to 19 of STEVANS’ songs. She is currently touring, and STEVANS plan to join the tour as soon as the pandemic allows.

The song itself is about the creeping sense that your life is a free fall, though you can’t help but fight back, even if it’s just beating the air. The track is led by the strong vocal performance, situated on top of punchy guitars and piano, drawing from pop, rock, and indie and delivering a commercial track with an edge.
