Video Premiere: Take The Name – ‘Save Myself (From Myself)’

Take The Name

Take The Name are back and sharing their new video, “Save Myself (From Myself),” premiering here at New Noise.

The band—vocalist Tyler Kern, drummer Keith Gensure, and bassist Nick Metz—started the year with a rebrand, recently signing a worldwide distribution deal with Blood Blast Entertainment following a number of challenges that could have stopped any band. They point to their influences in bands likeA Day to Remember, Point North, Sleeping with Sirens, and Three Days Grace. Take The Name blend punk chords and anthems with their own unique sound, creating earworms and urging listeners to check out more.

According to the band, when it came time to decide how to follow up their latest EP, For What It’s Worth, they  wanted to expand on their sound and incorporate elements of alternative and pop to their heavier blend of rock.
