“Finding our place in the creative world we dwell in has been a trip,” says vocalist and guitarist David Baqi. “We’ve witnessed some of our closest, most talented friends throw in the towel which can be disheartening when the concept of ‘you are the company you keep’ is a common phrase on our tongues. Seeing so many people come and go has allowed us to focus on those who have remained constant, and for us, that is each other.
“That’s why these new songs, tours, and plans mean so much to us. Everything that pours out of us at this point is a metaphor for how we have each other’s sixes. The rest of our team/family glowing with as much passion as us restores the clarity and vision for the path we are on. Saying ‘I’m so excited for what’s next’ is such a wild understatement.”
