NYC-based, alt-emo band The Twin are gearing up for the release of their debut album Dead Rose with the premiere of the album’s second single, “Guilt,” coming with its own music video.

The band are comprised of members of Small Brown Bike, Able Baker Fox, Joshua Fit For Battle, and more, and they draw influences from emo and screamo bands of the past, along with modern shoegaze and alt acts.

Regarding the debut album’s second single, the band say, “The song ‘Guilt’ explores the deep regret and accountability that is present when one hurts a loved one and the anger that ensues.”

The video stars Shelby Flannery from the sci-fi show The 100, and it was directed and written by Art Boonparn. It tells a story involving a voodoo curse, evil totems, a regretful deception, and ultimately, vengeance, pairing nicely with the band’s initial intentions writing the track.
