Video Premiere: The Violent Hearts – ‘Porcelain World’ Lyric Video

The Violent Hearts wrote “Porcelain World” about struggle, and it’s a fitting song for right now. It’s from their Porcelain World / Hex On Me 7″, out now via Roosevelt Records.

“I wrote this song at a time when I was in a very similar situation to the one most of us are in now,” says J. Mattock.

“A few years ago, I found myself struggling to live in another country. I was cut off from technology and the outside world with no money and nowhere to go. This went on for months, and in that time, I wrote the bulk of our album. This song’s a metaphor for a world stood still. Listening to it today, it conveys a strange, new meaning. “
