Out July 3 via Brutal Panda Records, Transit Method’s The Madness is the next chapter in their heavy-yet-accessible journey. Check out the video for “Drag the Ghouls” and get stoked.

Transit Method are an adventurous, dynamic rock trio from Austin, TX that bring together the complexities of progressive rock with the unrefined grit of grunge and heavy metal. Consisting of brothers Matt and Mike LoCoco (guitars/vocals and drums, respectively) and Danny Borja (bass), the band have been writing, recording, and performing together since 2014.

The Madness is their sophomore album which pushes the lines of psychedelia, punk, prog, metal, and alternative rock into futuristic new places! For fans of Baroness, Protest the Hero, Torche, Rush, and Jane’s Addiction.

“Drag the Ghouls is the nightmare you can’t shake,” the band says. “It’s the skeletons that forever rattle in the closet. Mike penned the lyrics after watching a Sopranos episode where a mobster is haunted by his murderous past. The verses creep along with an eerie bounce before exploding into each chorus. It’s dynamically rich, musically acrobatic, and a tune we’re really proud of.”
