Wes Hoffman, an active member of the St. Louis and Midwest punk scenes in the early 2000s, took a hiatus from music for several years before returning to the scene in 2017. Hoffman is now back at it with his friends releasing new material, now unveiling the song “Something to Live For,” along with a new music video.

Hoffman chats more about the new single: “‘Something to Live For’ is the third single off our upcoming EP. This song was written at the beginning of 2021 with the mindset of leaving my old life behind and finding purpose in a new one. Shedding my skin and being OK with starting over, as well as finding gratitude in the little things in life, like spending time with your friends and loved ones.”

Hoffman is also known for his former and current podcasts, The StrangeHouse and Wes Hoffman with Friends, respectively. The live band consists of Hoffman on vocals and guitar, Jacob Boyd on bass, Johnny Wehner on guitar, and Justin Unterseh on drums.
