Wisdom in Chains’ new video, “Burn in Hell,” out now via Fast Break! Records, will take you back to the classic days of everyone’s favorite crossdressing hair metal tycoons Twisted Sister.

“We always loved Twisted Sister and maintain ’til this day that they are the best band to ever wear make-up,” the band says. “Musically, they are so catchy, and vocally, Dee is one of the best in the game. ‘Burn in Hell’ has it all: the evil vibe, it’s hard, straight up… we love this jam. Also, our guitar player was related to their late, great drummer A.J. Pero. We love paying respect to the bands we love, so we had to do a TS song.”

New Noise Magazine has premiered a new video from Stroudsberg, Pennsylvania’s Wisdom In Chains this morning. Filmed in the band’s practice space, this is a live-streamed version of the band’s take on the Twisted Sister classic “Burn In Hell.”

As viewers from around the globe chime in with comments (some complimentary, some taking the piss) including Hoya (Madball) and Craig (Sick Of It All) ask for a song request.  After turning down quite a few, the unlikely request for TS comes in, which the band is only too happy to fulfill.  However, this is a much more brutal, hardcore punk version than the ’80s, glam metal original.
