New Noise Magazine is pleased to be bringing forth the exclusive video premiere of “Last Place” by Young Misery. The song is an anthemic, anguish driven tune with a floating guitar lead that rides through the song whimsically. It ties together the slamming syncopation of the other instruments, and gives a pretty underlying tone to the vocals running rampant through cleans and visceral screams. Young Misery is a post hardcore outfit from Tempe, Arizona. Originally started as our singer Nick’s studio project, the band formed in early 2018 and spent a majority of that time in the studio with Ryan Knowles and Casey Sullivan of White Noise Recordings in San Diego. Young Misery has given the band an opportunity to experiment outside of metal and hardcore backgrounds and share our brand of post hardcore with everyone.
