Following the release of his sophomore EP, Ellis, Austin, Texas-based singer-songwriter 1st Base Runner has shared the new video for the track “Near Me.”
1st Base Runner is the immersive, new project from singer, songwriter, and producer Tim Husmann, drawing on shoegaze, alternative, and dream pop to create his unique sound that consistently carries a sense of raw emotion and wisdom.
Husmann teamed up with Radiohead creative direction Dilly Gent to release two epic, immersive music videos, the first being “Man Overboard” released December 17, the second, “Near Me.” Both track appear on the new EP.
The new video captures 1st Base Runner’s inner world through a surreal, psychedelic, dream-like, and dangerous lens. It’s full of hallucinatory symbolism and harrowing archetypes, merging sinister aesthetics with the more fantastical.
