Floridian party-prog outfit Little Geronimo have dropped their latest single, the infectious “What To Say.” Blending delay-driven guitar riffs, pumping rhythms and smooth pop vocals, the Jacksonville quintet effectively squares the wide-ranging circle encompassing acts as diverse as The Weeknd, Muse, and The Mars Volta.

Little Geronimo formed when vocalist Brandon David met drummer David Kennedy in the line at a Circa Survive show, at which point David moved to Jacksonville to continue working with Brandon on the Kingdoms EP. Since then, the group has grown to include guitarists Adam Rohrer and Nick Slaveski alongside bassist Turner Payan.

“What To Say” follows on from the band’s previous single, “Glow,” and will appear on their forthcoming debut full-length album, set for release in the fall of 2021.

On the single’s accompanying video, David states:

“Getting to film in the big paint booths at my job because it’s a place I’m at every day. All of us playing super loud in an environment that I’m always at and don’t associate with my music life actually converging and helping each other out was really cool.”

Rohrer adds:

“Skateboarding and playing with fireworks. Also, the cops showed up and tried to shut down our fireworks shoot but we told them it was our last scene and they just said, ‘Send it,’ so we got to finish everything that day.”
