We’re pleased to bring you the premiere of Voices In Vain’s new music video for their song “By Any Means Necessary” (watch it below). The track is taken from the band’s forthcoming debut album Narcotics & Animal Instincts, which is scheduled to be released Fall 2017.

“The second single off of ‘Narcotics and Animal Instincts’, ‘By Any Means Necessary’ is an ode to the current state of the world. The video is a tribute to the DIY music scene, and is a thank you to all of our friends and family who have both supported and pushed us to new heights. Lyrically, the song is dedicated to the people who have risked their lives to ensure justice and transparency from corrupt and violent authorities.”
In late 2014, an eclectic and exciting group of musicians emerged to rejuvenate the Vermont “heavy” scene. As a group named Voices In Vain, the band members came together to produce a sound that pushes musical boundaries and can only be considered unique, whacky and refreshingly heavy. Since they joined forces, their creative approach to music, DIY mentality, and intense, energetic live performances have gained them many fans throughout the U.S.
In 2016, the group released a single and music video titled “Sex Cells,” shared the stage with many international touring acts, and embarked on multiple tours throughout the country. The band so far has toured extensively in their home of New England as well as thousands of miles from home, all while displaying their ambition and drive to tour wherever their music takes them.
With the release of their debut album, Narcotics & Animal Instincts, Voices in Vain is solidifying their vision of bringing an exciting, refreshing sound paired with the voice of social consciousness to the metal/hardcore scene. The first single off of the new album, Anarchrist has been met with critical acclaim, allowing them to grow their fan-base and gain further online traction. Following their Fall release, the band will again take their love of shows on the road with the goal of sharing their sound at new and familiar venues, with the intention of blowing minds at every turn. With promise and passion, Voices in Vain is not holding back by taking the music scene by storm in 2017.
