Berlin based indie-rock/wave duo WHOLE played to a standing full-capacity (~1000) crowd at Kesselhaus, Berlin. 1/2 of the band consists of the prolific Alexander Leonard Donat, of Fir Cone Children and Vlimmer. Today, New Noise Magazine is bringing forth the live video of “Get Away” from a recent set.
The other half of the band consists of Thomas Schernikau, whose other band, Forced to Mode, a Depeche Mode tribute band, were headlining the evening. Though the majority of the crowd were no doubt there to see Forced to Mode, they responded very warmly and enthusiastically to WHOLE’s set which was delivered with earnest passion and energy. Watch out for the stage dive fail which occurred although Alex asked the crowd in the beginning of the video: “Can you carry 70 kg?”
