Today, Long Beach, California-based indie duo This Wild Life releases their sophomore album Low Tides. The much-anticipated follow-up to their 2014 Epitaph debut Clouded, Low Tides finds the alt-rock act exploring more inventive instrumentation while pushing further into the intensely personal nature of their lyrics.
This Wild Life is also premiering their new video for “Falling Down” today. Made in collaboration with video director/conceptual fashion photographer Raul Gonzo, the “Falling Down” video can be seen below.
This Wild Life’s Kevin Jordan and Anthony del Grosso recorded Low Tideswith producer/engineer Aaron Marsh of Copeland. Mixed and mastered with additional production and engineering by Jason Suwito of Sir Sly, Low Tides expands This Wild Life’s impassioned sound with lush strings and harmonies while weaving in moody electronic and ambient elements.
Since forming in 2010, This Wild Life has built up a dedicated fanbase with more than 34 million album streams, 32 million YouTube views, and 400k social media followers. With the release of Clouded, the duo charted as the #1 Top New Artist, #1 Top Alternative New Artist, #49 Digital Album, and the #17 Independent Album at Billboard.
On September 14 in Los Angeles, This Wild Life begins their 25-city headline Low Tides Tour.
