News: Young Culture Collabs With Daisy Grenade On New Song

New York pop-punkers Young Culture release their first song of the year, collaborating with Daisy Grenade on “Jesus.” Young Culture last put out new music in November, when the group released its album You Had To Be There.

“This song is about situations that are toxic, but too addictive to leave at the same time,” Young Culture vocalist Alex Mangan says. “We wrote it during a writing retreat out in Philadelphia earlier this year and knew it had to be a standalone as we felt it was something we had never done before and stood out as so.”

The upbeat track features the dynamic Daisy Grenade in the second verse while bringing the band back in for an explosive finish. The grand-sounding single features a fun blend of bouncy verses with a heavier chorus. The vocals of Mangnan and Dani Nigro pair perfectly.

“When writing it with our good friend Cameron Waker, he suggested we collaborate with our mutuals in Daisy Grenade, and we immediately agree it would bring to the table exactly what this song needed,” Mangan continues.

Young Culture are touring across the country with Just Friends, Bearings and Youth Fountain. Learn more about their tour and new music here.
