The B-52’s celebrate the 30th Anniversary of their record release, Cosmic Thing with an expanded edition of the original album that features remastered tracks, B-sides, remixes, and unreleased, live performances from the 1990s Cosmic Tour.
Some may not know The B-52’s by their name, but will still be familiar with their iconic tracks like “Love Shack” and “Roam,” two of which feature on their ’89 record, Cosmic Thing. The album had also reached #3 on the Billboard Album Chart and sold over four million copies in the U.S.
The remastered version of Cosmic Thing will will be presented as a two-disc sets that includes five new, remastered bonus tracks that highlight B-sides and remixes like “B-52’s Megamix” and “Roam” (Extended Remix).
The second disc will feature The B-52’s live performance in Texas in August of 1990 during their Cosmic Tour. You will hear them sing classic songs like “Rock Lobster,” “Dance This Mess Around,” “Private Idaho,” and “Give Me Back My Man.” Cosmic Thing will be available for physical and digital download on 6/28 through Rhino Records.
