Rundle’s latest album, These Killing Times, drops as a self-release on September 18 and is a reflection of our current moment as a society.
“(These Killing Times) has a lot of anger—but it also has hope on it—which was an important thing for me to include because I personally need hope,” Rundle says about the album. “There’s no way for me to separate my own experience from what I do in my music. Thinking on it now, it probably would have been a good idea to just do something a little less personal, but at the same time, in my career, I can’t separate the art and the artist. In my world it’s not separate.”
