Scottish rock trio Biffy Clyro are proud to release a brand new video for the track “Flammable” from their current album Ellipsis. The video follows the announcement of three of the biggest U.K. award nominations of their career: Best British Group at the BRITAwards, Best British Group and Best Festival Headliners at the NMEAwards. The performance-based video which features the band tearing through the track while encased in a glass box suspended from the ceiling of an abandoned warehouse as a ferocious quantity of fireworks explodes around them in dangerously close proximity. This 2D version of the video will soon by followed by a unique 3D virtual reality experience.
Ellipsis was produced by Rich Costey who was chosen on the strength of his work with Muse, My Chemical Romance, Sigur Ros, Fiona Apple, etc. Ellipsisfinds Biffy Clyro streamlining their sound into a rush of melody and strident, stadium-conquering hooks in which its uplifting atmosphere contrasts with the darker themes of vocalist/guitarist Simon Neil’s lyrics.
