We’re pleased to bring you the premiere of Chin Up, Kid’s new lyric video for their song “Expectations” (watch it below). The track is taken from the band’s upcoming album Swing With Your Eyes Closed, which is scheduled to be released on April 28th through Standby Records and will be followed by a headlining tour with Victorian Halls.

“Chin Up, Kid is excited to announce our signing to Standby Records to put out this album we’ve poured our heart and souls into, ‘Swing With Your Eyes Closed.’ ‘Expectations’ is about realizing what’s wrong with a situation in your life and coming to terms with it. The album as a whole has a common theme of keeping strong and believing in yourself.”
Chin Up, Kid was formed in 2013 by Cheyenne Smith. They shortly after released their debut EP, Home Advantage. They showed success throughout playing many shows in Indiana including their local stop of the 2015 Vans Warped Tour.
In 2016, the band again self released another EP titled, The Way You Live Is Common. After a few lineup changes, Chin Up, Kid began writing for what would become their full-length label debut, Swing With Your Eyes Closed.
