A Day To Remember have spent the past several weeks previewing new album Bad Vibrations by releasing a stream of teaser tracks and videos. To celebrate the album’s arrival, the band is releasing yet another music clip, this time for “Naivety.” The video, which can be seen below, was filmed in Florida with director Darren Doane (Deftones, Zac Brown Band, Blink-182), who also helmed the recently released “Bullfight” video.
Released on the band’s own ADTR Records and distributed by Epitaph Records, Bad Vibrations was produced by Bill Stevenson (Descendents, Black Flag) and Jason Livermore (Rise Against, NOFX) and mixed by Grammy winner Andy Wallace (Foo Fighters, Slayer). The album is the band’s first since 2013’s Common Courtesy.
The quintet, who recently headlined the 2016 Alternative Press Music Awards, are currently on the road with Blink-182 for a summer tour of arenas and sheds. In December, they’ll head to Australia for a string of shows with support from Of Mice & Men and follow with a headlining run that’ll take them to the UK, Germany, Italy, France and more.
Their live set has been drawing rave reviews, with the Tampa Bay Times calling them “one of Florida’s most successful musical exports this century” and the Houston Press writing that the “ADTR gave the crowd everything they needed to have a good time. They are extremely good at what they do, and it was good to know that they could not only hold their own with a band as iconic as Blink-182, but could stand damn near shoulder to shoulder with them.”
Over the course of the past several years, each of A Day To Remember’s releases have hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Rock, Indie and/or Alternative Charts, they’ve sold more than a million units, racked up over 400 million Spotify streams and 500 million YouTube views, garnered two gold-selling albums and singles (and one silver album in the UK) and sold out entire continental tours, amassing a global fanbase whose members number in the millions. All of which explains why Rolling Stone called them “An Artist You Need To Know.”
