New Noise Magazine is pleased to be bringing forth the exclusive video premiere for “Sway” by Funeral Attire. The song is an urgent tune full of both melodic and spastic moments. A lot of the sentiment is self-reflective, really digging into the lyrics and letting a stream of catharsis unleash. Anchored around the idea of “if you love me, let me die,” the song is an emotional weight constantly bearing down. Take a listen and view below,
If You Love Me Let Me Die will be available on all digital streaming services on August 18th
“‘Sway’ is a song about accepting the passing of a loved one. It’s unique in the sense that it’s written from the perspective of the person on their deathbed, as opposed to the viewpoint of a grieving loved one. Loss is a central theme in a lot of our music, and this song is a super personal expression of that idea.”

Funeral Attire are a post hardcore band that formed in Boston, MA in 2015. After the release of their first LP “Joy” in April 2016, the band began hitting the road, playing shows all over the northeast, and garnering a loyal fanbase with heartfelt lyrics woven into their signature blend of post-hardcore aggression and emo authenticity. The band’s third release “If You Love Me Let Me Die”, due to release on August 18th of this year, is packed with the all the best parts of their previous releases, but refined into a more polished sound, leaving only an intense, personal, and genuine portrayal of what’s next for the band.
