Here are five new albums you should check out this week!

Raised Fist – “Anthem”

Album: Anthems (Epitaph Records)

The seventh album from long-running Swedish hardcore band Raised Fist, Anthems is out today. The single “Anthems” is a rager of a song from the new record that will get the fists pumping and hearts thumping.

Abigail Williams – “I Will Depart”

Album: Walk Beyond the Dark (Blood Records)

“I Will Depart,” the first track on Abigail Williams’ new album Walk Beyond the Dark, is an eight-minute-long black metal symphony. The Olympia-based band makes extreme music that is fast, dark, and intriguing-—a must listen for metal fans.

The Deathtrip – “Abraxas Mirrors”

Album: Demon Solar Totem (Profound Lore Records)

Yet another great, heavy album that came out today: Demon Solar Totem by U.K. shredders The Deathtrip. If there’s one word to describe The Deathtrip’s sound it would be “cold,” so get under sa blanket and crank up the volume!

Left Behind – “Peeling Wax”

Album: No One Goes to Heaven (Pure Noise Records)

No One Goes to Heaven is the third album from Left Behind, a West Virginia band that blend hardcore punk with sludgy metalcore. If the single “Peeling Wax” is any indication, the record will be filled with breakdowns of epic proportions.

El Drugstore – “Samaritrophia”

Album: The Golden Age of Bad Ideas (Nefarious Industries Records)

“Samaritrophia” is a six-minute, instrumental journey through winding guitars, blast beats, and wicked bass riffs. When you come out on the other side, you’ll be a big fan of El Drugstore, a mathy, New Jersey trio that are undeniably talented.
