News: 408 Partners with TITUS to Release ‘2016’

408 continue their run of brilliant collabs, teaming up with rapper/pop-punker TITUS on “2016.” The song blends the addictive guitar riffs and hooks of Y2K pop punk with the complementary vocals of 408’s Mark Faroudi and the aforementioned rising star.

Faroudi says the song was born, like so many, in Nashville when the band sat down with highly regarded songwriters Nick Bailey and Kyle Fisherman in the well-known Play It Again studios. They crafted a personal track about relationships lost in, as you might have guessed, the year 2016.

“The band also wanted to combine styles such as Juice Wrld, Uzi, and pop punk for this track. Naturally, the song took on a slight country breath as well, and the band loved it. 408 teamed up with Titus on 2016 to solidify its pop punk crossover as well as touching on some deep subject matter in the song,” the band says in a statement.

408 are riding high after dropping a handful of successful singles from their upcoming album Out Of It. It’s already pushed their monthly listeners to 150,000 on Spotify, with their duet with Taylor Acorn entitled “Backfired” passing 500,000 listens on the streaming service.

Out Of It was recorded by platinum, award-winning producers and engineers who are behind other scene masterpieces from artists like A Day To Remember and Neck Deep. 408,poised to join these genre giants, embarks on a cross-country tour in support of Makeout this fall.
