News: Alien Ant Farm Release New Single ‘Fade’

Alien Ant Farm

California band Alien Ant Farm have released a new single, “Fade,” as well as a music video for the track. They also have a new album, ~mAntras~, set to release April 24 via Megaforce Records.

Terry Corso on “Fade”:

“If you’re looking for classic AAF, ‘Fade’ is well-represented. With urgently swung rhythms and heartfelt, to-the-point lyrics, this track brings the bands creative history with the DeLeo brothers into the present and future.”

“Fade” follows the release of “So Cold,” the band’s first new song since their musical hiatus.  ~mAntras~ is a record that not only challenges preconceptions of the band, but it’ll also firmly reassert their place within the music world. It’s Alien Ant farm’s sixth full-length, shaped by personal change and growth. It also represents as close to a new beginning since the band first formed back in 1996 as possible, all whilst not being a record that dismisses the past. It’s one of deep contemplation, various trails and tribulations. It was designed to take the listener not only on a musical journey, but a personal and spiritual one as well.

Alien Ant Farm have dealt with a lot of adversity over the years after blowing up in 2001 with two iconic songs: “Movies” and a cover of Michael Jackson’s “Smooth Criminal.” However their biggest adversity came between both of the releases of Always And Forever and this record.

Alien Ant Farm are confirmed to play at Welcome to Rockville 2024 with artists like Foo Fighters, Evanescence, Disturbed, Slipknot, Flyleaf and more. They’ll also be performing in Ashland, KY in June at Paramount Arts Center.
