Punk-artists-turned-eclectic-rockers Angel Du$t released a new single recently. The single, called “Very Aggressive,” comes with a b-side called “Love Slam.” The two tracks are out via Pop Wig Records. With the release of the single comes the music video for “Very Aggressive,” which also features guest vocals from Mat Kerekes of Citizen.
Frontman Justice Trip talked a little bit about why the new song was unique for the band. “This was the first time I’ve ever produced our music myself,” he says. “I think what’s important about that is the freedom to try anything you have in mind. Rock ‘n’ roll is such a broad spectrum of music, but I think sometimes people will focus in on just one thing. I wanted to try and represent a lot of different angles—all of the things Angel Du$t has been so far. It feels like we’re just totally off the leash.” He also goes on to say that the song “tried to capture a lot of different eras of rock music.”
