“You Will Never Get Me,” is the latest single from CANDY off the much anticipated track list for their soon to be released album It’s Inside You. The track is the bands third pre-release from the album that is now expected in just under a month, on June 7th. The track features Justice Tripp of Angel Du$t and Trapped Under Ice, who brings his unyielding ruthless vocals to the mix.
“You Will Never Get Me” is a somber outcry touching on feelings of isolation and guardedness. The raw emotions being expressed through the lyrics are profound, yet are disguised behind the fast-paced nature of the track, fit with heavy instrumentals and bellowed scream vocals. The song is also paired with frenzy inducing visual effects that will leave the viewer in a nightmarish trance state.
These new releases show that CANDY is reveling in their era of experimentation and are stepping up in an effort to take their sound to the next level. The band’s last album was put out in 2022 and with every new release it is clear that they are vehemently deliberate when it comes to the final production. The band carefully curates each and every track, with the eclectic nature we have seen so far from the singles released from It’s Inside You it will be interesting to see what the rest of the album has to offer.
To celebrate the release of It’s Inside You, CANDY will be performing a record release show at Salty’s Beach Bar in Lake Como, New Jersey on July 6th with Everybody Gets Hurt, Division of Mind, Final Resting Place, Sector, and Last Man Out. Tickets to the show are available for purchase here. You can also get our special CANDY issue with a flexi disc here.
