News: Code Orange are ‘Out For Blood’ in New Video

Code Orange, the Grammy-nominated, heavy-hitting trailblazers, have returned with a brand-new single, “Out For Blood.” The stand-alone single sees the tight-knit five-piece further embracing their electronic/industrial influences, as bands like NIN and Static-X come to mind after listening.

If you’ve been following Code Orange’s progression as a band, this direction is nothing completely out of the ordinary. With Underneath, their prestigious full-length prior, songs such as “Easy Way” and the self-titled, “Underneath” saw Code Orange interlacing electronic intricacies within their heavy-natured sound, more so than ever before.

With “Out For Blood,” Code Orange unabashedly continue down that rabbit hole, so to speak, forever pursuing a sound that is as unrestrained as it is unrelenting.

Produced by Rob Cavallo (My Chemical Romance / Green Day), “Out For Blood” follows Code Orange’s critically lauded 2020 album Underneath which earned the band their second Grammy nomination in the category of “Best Metal Performance” for the album’s title track.

Elaborating on “Out For Blood,” Code Orange frontman Jami Morgan explains, “When they go right, we go left. Code Orange is Out For Blood, and we are just gettin’ started.”
