Every Friday at 3 p.m. PT via “We Are Hear: On The Air,” prolific artist and grunge-punk icon Donita Sparks launches her very own variety show. Since she can’t deliver her lyrical wit to fans in the flesh because of coronavirus, the weekly show will keep viewers on the edge of their seats with music and art performances.
The show is on ‘We Are Hear: On The Air,” the free, multi-platform network launched last week by artist empowerment label/publishing/management collective founded by multi-platinum songwriters and producers Linda Perry and Kerry Brown. It has support from partners including Roland, YouTube, Taylor Guitars, Blue Hats Creative, and more. The first show streamed April 3 and was a huge success.
Each video on the site will have a MusiCares donation button and a direct Paypal.me link to support the performer. Providing relief to members of the music community affected by the pandemic, the creative platform is a pioneering success.
